About the FH D

With a comprehensive and interdisciplinary range of study programmes, the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf is one of the biggest universities of this type in the federal state of Northrhine-Westphalia. In the summer semester of 2009, 7000 students are taught and qualified by 190 professors and 100 scientific research associates in 31 different study programmes at seven departments.

UN Global Compact

Die Fachhochschule Düsseldorf ist seit dem Wintersemester 2010/2011 als erste Hochschule Nordrhein-Westfalens und als einzige Fachhochschule Deutschlands Mitglied der internationalen Initiative „UN Global Compact“. Die FH D verpflichtet sich damit, die zehn durch UN Global Compact formulierten Prinzipien aktiv im Arbeits- und Studienalltag umzusetzen.
